Big Suprise in The Millsaps House........

Ok so Im a wee bit late and far behind on keeping this Blog updated...but hopefully Im goinna start doing better. (lets hope anyway)
Where to start....welp about three days before my birthday I thought I had caught a stomach bug. Def not feeling good and felt like a transfer truck had hit me at full speed. Neatly to say I went to the doctor. Im sure you've prob guessed by now....YUP we're goinna have a sweet lil baby!!! It's very exciting for both me and tim. Trying to grasp the fact im goinna be a mom is something totally new to me! My hope is that this little bug will see how much we're goinna love him or her, and that i'll be the kind of mother i want to be for the baby and need to be. Oh i've been calling the baby bug bc i thought the poor child was a stomach bug. lol.
We are about 9 weeks along.....we had our first ultrasound done this week, so we recieved bug's first picture. Of course we had to forward a picture to everyone we knew. lol. It's an amazing feeling and mixed feelings at that to know your having a baby, but then to see you really have a lil person growing there inside of you is whole new feeling. I had realized that we were having a baby but it didn't hit me till we seen bug on the screen and to see bug's heart beating. Truely an amazing blessing and gift from God.
My goal now from here on out is to keep this updated with special little facts about bug and what's going here and the changes that our family is going to be making to prepare for bug in april.

A New Addition 2 Our Weee Family

My birthday is coming in only 28 more days....woot woot. So naturally I had been begging my sweet husband for something that I really really really stress the really wanted! What is it you may ask well.........I wanted a PUPPY. Yes a PUPPY! I begged Tim for 2 weeks, with the please can we, but Tim, and the classic "honey I really want a little bitty puppy" I had almost given up on the whole thing but one last desperate plea I was looking in the paper and found an add.." BOXER PUPPIES" hum....just what I wanted too. A boxer pup. So I took it upon myself to call the number and at least ask about em. :) She said he had 10 in the litter and out of the ten she had one solid WHITE one. Of course I hang up with her and called you guessed it TIM!!!! I was ready for a good begging speech but to my surprise Tim agreed to get one only if we could get the white one. To make this long story short that evening we met up with the kind lady and received our 6 week old handsome as can be tiny little BOXER PUPPY!

We thought of several options for a name but in the end we choose ZEUS. It's a different name but really neat that the same time! He is so spoiled rotten already. We've been told he has us wrapped around his little puppy paw which in fact may be true.

I went to good will today and got him a stuffed teddy bear that is as big as he is. It's so funny to watch him try to drag that thing around and play with it. It also has a pull rope, ball, stuffed monkey, stuffed camel, teething puppy bones, and whatever else he finds along the way. LOL. So maybe he does have us wrapped around those precious lil paws of his!

What hurts the most......

I thought my last few days at work had been hard but NOTHING compares to today!!!!

I had had a little bit better day a work today not to bad. When I got off I took the car to drop it off to get it fixed. Then I went to get my phone fixed. Not bad until I arrived home.......

Tim sat me down and said that our family pup had been hit my a car. A car that didn't even have a enough respect to stop! That piss's me off so bad! Why can't people understand the feelings or concerns for other people! I mean really! Koda was family! And losing him feels like losing a special little part of our family! Koda was our first pet as a family! Tim loved koda so much too! I've never seen a bond between a guy and his dog, like I have with Tim and Koda. I was looking at pictures and couldn't help but to just let the silent tears just fall. The tears leave tracks along your face for a short while, but the paw prints your puppy leaves on your heart last a lifetime.

I think of all the times we would go for a walk or a ride on the gator and Koda would be right there with us! He would try to out run the gator and which 90% of the time he did! He was sooooo fast! He would run along side of us jus as fast as he could. Then I think about all the kids loved him as well. Bryson would love all over him! Whitlyn calling.."dog, Dog" He would lick her toes and face if we'd let him! Haha! I think of him and zoey has babies and how'd they play together! I had NEVER since a dog and cat play together like these two did! Koda played mom dog. haha! He'd follow zoey all over the house! Or about Tim's dad Alvin, how'd he ride koda on the tractor or how koda would follow Alvin everywhere outside while he worked!!!

So dam it, Why can't other people understand that animals are part of families, part of their memories, special moments that they treasure more than anything!?!? I jus don't get it!

Koda Ryan was a beautiful, full of energy, on the go, playful, sweet, loving, kind pup!

We're all goinna miss Koda so much!!!

If it ain't on thing It's another!

Here lately has been crazy at work. Like the other day I was on my way home from work and was talking to Tim on the phone, I was so stressed that I cried for like 10 mins! Stress can make you do weird things! But, that was also the day that the car got hit in the parking lot at work.
I was counting meds off and fixin to leave out the door when I found out it had happened! *poop i thought* Well anyways so neatly to say I was NOT a happy camper and neither was Tim. It was totally an accient but it still upsets you, ya know! Luck for us the little man came in and told me he done it! So that was a blessin really in it's self. Most people would have just went on. I had to get a police report and all that fun stuff. ~*Blah*~
Since I was off work today I took the car for an stament. The auto shop said that it's 674 dollars worth of damage. EKKKS But lucky us again the mans insurance is goinna pay for it, so we don't have to pay a thing! Yay on that! Lol.

Since Im off today I have cam to vist my sis Case, bro Joe, and sweet pea Connor! Connor makes the cutest little baby sounds in the world. Well besides crying. When he crys I want to cry with him! LOL. The poor little fella screams if he's getting he's diaper changed, but only if he's asleep. If he's awake it don't bother him as bad! lol. Hopefully here in a little while I'll get a good chance to take some pictures of him!!! He's a much better photo subject than he's daddy! haha! Joe HATEs to have his picture taken! lol. Oh well.

The Road Home is NEVER too long....

When I got home from work today i discovered something amazing in our front yard right beside the steps to the front door......what is it you may ask?!? Well....even if you were asking Im still goinna tell ya, so there! haha well.......

It was on of the most prudyest flowers I have seen. It's like a purple kinda color. Momma said that it's called an Iris. Well neatly to say I was impressed considering I didn't even know I had an "Iris" plant there in the first place. lol. Theirs 3 blooms out there right now, naturally you know I had to take a picture of them. So, that I did. I'm very pleased with my prudy little flowers. I think I'll baby em too. After my dismay with the flower thing I left to go to my nephew Bryson's baseball game. He's sooooo cute wearing his little baseball uniform. And bless his heart I was taking some pictures of him in out field and busted him on camera wide open diggin a wedgie out. Bahaha It was so funny and you can't help but laugh. But I think that's what makes precious moments and memories, all the funny things! Other than that he did a great job. He's going to be even more amazing when ever he gets bigger I just know it!

When I was leaving to walk down to meet up with Momma Mary to ride to the ball field I turned to looked back behind me and it stuck me, odd that the welcome sign to Lowrys is right at our driveway. An for some odd reason it made me think of that saying the road home is never too long. Come to think of it.....I always think about that when i'm driving back home from along trip some wheres. It don't matter how long the drive is or how long it takes, just as long as Im home at the end. You know home is a safe place, a personal place, and a place of love! Anyways just one of those random A.D.D moments that tend to strike me at odd moments.

Hummmm let's see what else....Ooooo I bought the girls (Zoey and Abby) a compressed cat nip ball. bahaha I know you have to be thinkin what the heck?! Well it's like a big ball of weed for cats! This is the ONLY ball I have EVER seen Zoey play with. I mean our big fat momma kitty will roll on the floor and bat at this thing! It's kinda funny! Abby wont play with it as much as Zoey does. Abby would rather jump up into a spin around chair and be span around and around and get dizzy than play with the ball. I know our baby cat must be half retarded or something. But really so LOVES to spin around on chairs. She'll even jump up in the chair and meow until you spin it for her. An once again YES I have pictures. Of course you can't really get the whole aspect of it unless you were sitting there watching it or watching a video....That's it maybe I should video it. I don't really think most people would believe a CAT loves to be spun in a spinnie chair! lol

Not much to say....

So I have to say Im pretty pleased to say.......NAH NAH A BOO BOO........My sister found out yesterday that she is havin another BOY!!!!! Which makes me happy! haha I was hoping for her to have another boy. The babies will be close in age so......I think it would be easier for two lil boys!!!! I was the only one in our family who thought it might me a boy this time too...So...yay me I was RIGHT!!!! *insert happy dance here if you please*

Other than that lil tid bit, there's nothing really else new or interesting to tell. Work is work as usually and Tim and I are doing about the same. Jus peachy!!!

Catching Up...

So.....it's been forever and a day since I have even signed on to here! I feel terrible bc this blog was and is suppose to be about our story! (tim and i) An I have failed to pick it updated the way I thought I would and would like too. So please help me pray that I can make time for myself to update this and keep our story going.....

Well I see march was my last entry so i have a lot to catch you up on.......First of all..Im a Med. Tech at my job now. Some days are wonderful and breeze by with no worries! Other days I stop and think to myself ....WHAT WAS I THINKIN?!?!?! But I try to remember and some times and days are hard than most but, If GOD brings you to it then HE will bring you through it!!!! Takin on Med Tech add's 10 thousand more responsibilities, but I do love what I do. An in the end everything is worth while! Some of my residents now say " here comes my medicine girl" which is funny but cute at the same time!

Humm.....what's next.....OHHHHHH my sister Casey. (well not sisters birth but sisters my heart) Had her baby!!! CONNOR BRYANT!!!! So im a proud auntie once again. He's a handsome lil fella! He came in to the world on March 16th weighing 7 lbs 11 oz. Tim and I were both blessed to be at the hospital with all the family and loved ones!!!! Connor is def. goinna be a spoiled lil man! I even picked him up a bib today! I couldn't help myself...Tehe! Hey, what are aunties for huh?!

Tomorrow my sister Jamie will go to the doctor to find out what her's and Jeff's new lil addition will be....Im excited to find out! (im secertly hoping for another boy for em!) Shh....don't tell my mom she wants a girl! lol. Jabin is goinna be such a good big brother! Them being close in age, I believe they'll have a special close bond between them! I hope so anyways!

Things around our neck of the woods seem to be moving at such a fast pace it seems even hard for me to keep up some times! But Im goinna make it my mission to try to a least get updates posted every other day or so. Not only for those who wonder but for myself as well..... This is a good thing for me, I like telling about ourselfs and keeping loved ones and friends in the loop. So look out b/c more post are in the forecast............LOL

Work Work Work

So here lately I've been workin workin. So there really isn't to much to tell about. Although i should tell you about our nephew Bryson's new pet bunny! He's name is Charlie and its the cutest most precious little thing i have ever seen!!!! Bryson takes good care of his bunny too! So tim and i went to go see "Charlie" yesterday! Well Bryson decided he wanted Aunt Steph to play with him. HAHAHA First he "tried" to teach me how to play with action figures! You know beating the other one up and what not. hahaha.....Bry said ummmm you can't play this good. haha. I guess one could only guess that I've not have much xp. playing with boys toys! So we decide to play with nerf guns instead. Now that i do know how to play with! Bry and I went upstairs and loaded he guns and unloaded on tim and cormick! (they we're playing a video game) So naturally that started an all out WAR!!!! haha. When we were loading the guns bry said "they ain't even goinna know what hit em are they" Bless it. He was so proud of himself. So after lots of shooting back and forth it was supper time!

We were all sitting at the table eating and bry for some reason decided to get up under the table. Well i didn't think anything about it really! But.....Tim was in the middle of telling us something & then all the sudden he had the oddest look on his face.....and Bry said VERY proudly " I shot TIMOTHY in the weewee!" So how could you NOT start laughing?!? Jus luckly it didn't hurt tim but it was still funny either way! LOL.

The boys are coming Friday night to spend the night with Tim and I so im sure that should be interesting in itself! I can't wait to see what all we'll unfold!!!! (i'll have one heck of a story then im sure!)

Ok so this is CHARLIE ain't he cute?!?! I jus fell in love with the little floppy eared bunny! And then of course Bryson with Charlie! Don't he jus look proud of his bunny?!?!

Im SOOOOO proud of myself....

Yesterday Tim and I celebrated 2 whole years of marriage! Yay us! We really didn't do too much since we really celebrated on Friday! LOL. But jus the same Im very of how far we have came in our marriage! Im truly blessed! Oh he did get me the sweetess card though! Tehe!

I have truly amazing myself this week!!!!! I have read two books in the matter of only a week. So not to toot my own horn or anything but....*beep*beep*ba BEEP* Lol. Who would have EVER thought I would like or even love to read! Yay me! Well anyways....as promised i got my glasses this week so here's a couple of pictures! Tim says he likes me in glasses but im still unsure! (don't tell him but i still feel like a nerd in em! haha)

Im so late........(on posting)

So I haven't been able to post lately! One bc work seems to taking a great effect into my life right now. Grant it though I do really enjoy my job though, so that's a plus. And 2nd any spare time I've had, I have had my little nose stuck in my new book series im reading! LOL. I have started reading the Twilight saga....i know what you think "oh my, are you serious?!"

Well i am and i really enjoy reading. It's weird that i say that bc i use to NEVER read.....I thought it was boring and a waste of time....but now, now i find it very enjoyable and very relaxing! Strange as it may seem that's it though.

Well, for a recent update in our unfolding story well call life. Mine and Tim's 2 yr aniv. seems to fastly be appocring.....(tuesday the 23rd) I can not believe how fast the time as flew by. It seems just like yesterday we were finishing wedding plans and excitedly awaiting our wedding day! But true as it may be 2 yrs has came and gone. I would change one single sec of my life with my husband! I love him more then ever and couldn't possibly imagine my life any other way! Im bless to no end with the love and support of a wonderful husband!

I though i was working this tuesday but what a bless that it turned to where im off so i get to send the day with my hubby! ;) But anyways moving on since i thought i would be working we went out friday and spent the WHOLE day together! What a teat huh?!! Considering that since i've been working i see him on a hit and miss bases! Grrr! We went to eat at Olive Garden, yummy, (thanks to mrs june and mr gary they gave us a gift card to there) and then we went to books a million were my sweet hubby got me the 2nd book NEW MOON....which is great i can't put it down! We also got coffee in Books a Million. It was Joe Muggs. Which if you have never got coffee there.....i HIGHLY suggest it! What i got was WONDERFULLY yummy! LOL. By that time it was only like 2 something so we walked around the craft store right next door! Then we went to see the movie "The Book of ELI" that was a very AWESOME movie. (how ever not suggested for youngsers!!!) then we haha went to walmart to buy food for the house! LOL. AHHHHHHH the life of a married couple! ;) But i wouldn't change any of our small yet priceless moments together!

haha rotfl........and this is way our crazy moments keeps our love alive and new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So first of all..............

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!

My sweet little hubby surprised me with 2 pink roses for two years!!!! (pinks my fav color!) and some yummy tasty Chocolate!!!! hummmm.....and a sweet card! An in case your wondering if i got him anything........well duh of course I did! haha

First I up and cooked him his fav breakfast ( grits and eggs *yuck* lol) anyways then I lighted some candles and spread little heart shaped candy out all of the table! I also made him a scrapbook of all pictures of us. Then the kittys an koda added pictures of themselves! lol. haha!

So really we just chilled most of the day and took the day easy which is really nice since we're usually both working! lol

But for supper momma mary & pops alvin cooked all of us kids and grandkids steak and twiced baked taters! hummmm it was so good!!!!! I stuffed myself like a little piggy! lol. But what was the best was watching the everybody take turns play the wii! haha JUST DANCE!!!!

You can't help but laugh uncontrollably watchin everyone try dancing! We even got my brother in law paul to dance! haha! so that pretty much sum's up the great part of our valentines day!

Oh and I must say a special that you to my best friend/ sister casey!!!!!!!! Yesterday I totally forgot to check our mail so....I did today! And in the mail I got the sweet card and gift for valentines day! Casey you totally made my whole day! Your truly the only friend I can count on and trust!!!! God has truly blessed me with you and our special sisterhood!!!!

So since i totally you about my valentines day i must include the telling about our BIG snow day yesterday! Which really started Friday night!!!! I was working Friday when all the snow started which by the way was _______ trying to come home in!!!!! What normally takes me about 25 mins to come home took an hour and fifteen mins. Yup it TOTALLY sucked!!! I had never been so thankful to be home in my intire LIFE! lol. So all in all we really got alot of snow! So moving on.....Saturday morning Tim and I got up and we went out and played in the snow with the girls, charlene and paul! Which was a blast......I felt like such a little kid myself! I believe your never to old to play in the snow! So after about 2 hours of straight playin in the snow we come in! Only for me to get a phone call from a VERY sweet little nephew! "But i want you 2 come play with me" lol. Well of course I couldn't turn down an offer to go play in the snow with the boys and ride 4 wheelers and play in the hot tub!!!! I love my life as a auntie! Plus their still young enough right now to think their auntie is "COOL" haha LOL! Tim and I are really blessed with awesome nieces and nephews!!! They really are great kids!

welp i think that about wraps it up and the fact that it's 11:15 and im sleepy! lol

Sadly enough today I have to say I had nothing of interest happen today! It was a rainy blah day with no high point of the day! LOL
I did go 2 work but, I worked the AL side (Assit. living side) So........see it was a pretty boring day!
I have worked on Tim's Vday project for most of the day though! Now I can't tell ya now what it is bc that would jus spoil my supprise! An I can't do that now can I?!
Maybe 2marrow something new and interesting will come.....jus not 2day

today was.....grrrrrrr......jus well.....GRRRR DANG IT!!!!!

You ever jus had one of em days when you jus want to crawl right back in bed and try to wake up and just do it ALL over again!?!
Well today was def one of those stinkin days! First I went for glasses.....which doesn't make me happy in the first place considering I feel like I look like a nerd and a little ugly duckling when I HAVE to wear! (which by the way I have no choice!!!! the eye doctor said ALL the time!!! Is when i have to wear em now!!!!!) Not 2 mention that the eye doctor said my eyes are really funky! I can't see close up with one eye and can't see far off with the other! And to beat it all my eyes don't adjust to light well so...I have to have a special some kind of lens coating put on em! ~BLAH~BLAH~BLAH~
Then what I thought was goin to be the price of my glasses totally got threw for a loop bc of the cotton pickin "special" coating they have to put on em!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Double grrr! So what should have been 69.95 for two pairs of glasses turn into 218.18?! What the heck? right?!?!

Anyways I guess this is jus me being on my soap box preachin to myself! LOL!

Other than that my head is hurting! I guess cuz I been so upset 2day! Plus I miss some of my family! Boy Im jus a reg. lil basket case today huh?! Welp I can only go 2 bed now with the high hope of 2marrow being a much better day! (i'll post pictures of my new *tear* glasses when i get them in "the next 10 days buiz days!" lol)

A usual day until.....the fork comes out!!!!!

So like any other day I figured yesterday was going to be as normal as they come......bahaha...once agian was I wrong! I got up and got ready for what I thought was going to be goin into work at 9 and shadowing someone....you know when your new at a job you got a couple of day of just straight following someone around and learning the job. Welp no sooner had I got there they told me someone had called out and they needed me for 2nd shift. So no big deal right?!!? *oh snap, wait* She meant on my own!!! Oh well.


So I got back to work at 3 and went on to the Alzheimer's unit, can I just say WOW now?! Anyways boy o boy did they keep me on my feet! Chasing this one over here then running back and chasing one in a totally different direction! LOL.


With in my first 2 hours of my shift one little lady got away from me and pulled the cotton pick FIRE ALARM....now this wasn't too too bad considering there's a special cover that alarms just to let me know someone is messing with it! haha..


Then lets see oh yes one lady told me she was going to knock my head off...(lol) I told her "you don't want to do that you'll make me cry!!!" Her reply " I don't care " Someones nothing in my job ever seems to surprised me any more! I meant really you work with elderly people for 4 years and you just learn that somethings are jus goinna happen or be said.


Now with saying that, one thing did however SURPRISED the dickens out of me last night. Some people are VERY pickie on who touches their walker. Well....one little lady was walking around just checking everything out. She made it over to a table where a group of VERY pickie ladies where sitting! She happened to touch a walker that did not belong to her....neatly to say lady who walker belonged to....STABED lady who walker did not belong to with a FORK! Now i can say in my 4 years of work I have never seen any be stabed with a fork! *note* that stabed lady was fine and only a small tiny tiny spot showed a little blood! :)


You know the unit I worked on tonight really made me think back on to how blessed and thankful I am to have another day with my husband and family! A day that I can remember a couple of days from now! I guess that's one good thing about this blog for when I do start forgetting I'll always have something to go back to, to remember!

What a start to the morning.....haha

So this morning started out like always.....up at 8 a.m, cooked Tim eggs and grits! He was to have this for breakfest EVERY morning!!! Atfer fixing that for him I decide I had some time to sit with him before getting ready for work! So I sat down on the couch beside him. Well for some unknown reason he decided to pinch me with ol monkey toes! *GAH* Why must Iask, why?!? He kept on, so naturally I got aggravated and with my angery voice I said loudly "STOP" Tim in his sweet little trying to get out of trouble sweet voice said, "Baby, baby, look at me!" My reply as I turned my head in his direction "What?!" (and I do quote) He said "Baby I love you like the color red loves apples!" haha Where that came from I will never know! But it sure did turn my frawn upside down and make me giggle like a little school girl at her first crush!



If you thought that was funny, (which I did) Jus wait till you read about the rest of our morning!



Well.....o boy o boy! So after making Tim breakfest I decided to make my favrite muffins to take with me to work for later on! I had em mixed up and in the pan, then stuck into the oven! Not bad right?! Well....I heard the timer buzzing in the middle of me trying to apply my face! So I hollard and asked Tim to pull em out for me! Welp the next thing I heard was ~* BEEP*~ oh gahhhhhh STEPHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I ran into the kitchen only to find my poor husband with oven mit on one hand and the other flying around! Some how when he was pulling the pan out it tipped and fell on to the oven door! Now I can't say much because Im as graceful as a duck on ice, but anyhow moving on. As Tim was attempting to retrive the muffins that had feel to the bottom of the oven. The mit must have brushed up against the eye and well neatly to say the oven mit was on FIRE!!!! haha, Bless it! But wait, I forgot to add that in the mist of the oven mit there where TWO muffins a blaze along with the oven mit! Haha o boy! So neatly to say I did not get my muffins this morning!



So after all that this morning I made it on to work. Which I had a good day! Im really enjoying the people and the residents! Just trying to get use to have things are done and when and what not! You know the tipical new job stuff! Yesterday I was introducing myself to a resident and told her that I was stephanie and I was new here! You know what she told me......Well your new and I'm old! LOL. Bless it! Let's see....Oh yeah I also was learning new residents today as well. I told a lady I was new and going to be working there.....she said " well sweetie your a beautiful new addition & we're glad to have you!" Wasn't that sweet?! Bless it! It made me feel very special!
